Intellectual property

The texts, logos, posters, photographs and videos on this site belong to the IRFAN Foundation for Heritage or to their authors. Any reproduction requires prior permission.

Personal data

The data controller is the IRFAN Foundation for Heritage (Marrakech, Morocco). Data is processed in accordance with Moroccan law no. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and, for visitors from the European Union, the GDPR. It is never sold.

Contact form

Data: name, email and, as you choose, job title, phone, company, sector, country, city, website, social media, subject, message and, for exhibition requests, products, space and type of participation. Purpose: to answer your request and, where relevant, send you a proposal. Your message is forwarded by email to the team (info@marrakechfest.com); the website does not store it. Retention: no more than three years after our last exchange.

Press accreditation request

Data: identity, media outlet, role and status, contact details, address, professional links, coverage needs and message. Purpose: to review the request, issue the media badge and check identity on site. As stated in the form's terms, the ID you present may be given to the Moroccan authorities if they request it. Retention: one year after the festival.

Newsletter

Data: email address, language, sign-up and confirmation dates. Your subscription only becomes active once you confirm it through the link sent by email (double opt-in). Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Data is kept on our server (OVH, France) until you unsubscribe.

Amina chatbot

The Amina assistant is provided by Jotform Inc. (United States), which processes and stores conversations on our behalf and may use browser storage. Please do not share sensitive information in the conversation. Jotform privacy policy: jotform.com/privacy. To have a conversation deleted, write to us.

Technical logs and fonts

The server records IP addresses and the pages visited for security and to keep the site running; these logs are kept for no more than one year. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which passes your IP address to Google. The site itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

You may at any time access, correct, object to the processing of or request the deletion of your data by writing to info@marrakechfest.com. You may also contact the Moroccan data protection authority (CNDP).
