MOROCCO VISA INFORMATION

 

Visa-Free Entry

Citizens of many countries, including the USA, Canada, UK, EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, and several others, can enter Morocco visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days.

 or contact the nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate in your country for the most up-to-date information.

 

Visa Required

If your country is not on the visa-exempt list, you will need to apply for a visa before traveling.

 

Application Process

  • Visit the nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate in your country.

  • Submit your application and required documents online or in person or by mail (if permitted).

  • Some consulates allow online applications, so check if this is an option.

  • Processing Time: Typically 5 to 15 business days, but it can vary.

  • Extensions: If you need to stay beyond 90 days, you can apply for an extension at a local Bureau des Étrangers in Morocco.

 

Entry Visa Application Requirements

To Apply for a Visa, you need

Entry Visa Application Form Completed and signed.

Identity Photographs

Two recent, color photographs on a white background (4 x 3 cm).

The face must be clearly visible.

 

Identity Document or Residence Permit

Provide proof of your address, such as an identity card or residence permit.

 

Valid Passport

The passport or travel document must be valid for longer than the intended duration of stay.

 

Photocopy of Passport

Include photocopies of the pages showing personal identity details and passport validity.

At the Time of Visa Issuance

  1. Provide all documents listed above.

  2. If applicable, a mission order is required for governmental applicants.

Important Observations:

  • No Visa Type Changes Allowed in Morocco:
    Once you enter Moroccan territory, the visa type cannot be changed.

  • New Visa Applications:
    If a visa extension or change is required, it must be requested from the Moroccan consulate or embassy in the applicant’s country of residence.
