Coffee competition · barista

15 minutes to impress

Each competitor has 15 minutes to prepare:

  • 4 espressos
  • 4 milk beverages
  • 4 original signature drinks

Judges score taste, cleanliness, creativity, technical skill and presentation. The competition follows the official World Barista Championship rules (wcc.coffee).

The winner takes the title of Best Barista of Morocco 2027, with prizes, sponsorships and wide media exposure.

Tea competition

New in 2027: tea takes centre stage

After coffee in 2025, the championship opens up to tea with a competition of its own.

Tea tasting

Recognise, describe and assess teas blind: origins, varieties and infusions.

Tea sommelier

Advise, pair and serve tea with precision, like a sommelier.

Rezza

An event rooted in the Moroccan tradition of serving tea.

The title of Best Tea Master of Morocco 2027 rewards the best overall performance across the tea events. Detailed rules (events, scoring, jury) will be published when registration opens.

Turkish and Arabic coffee, moka pot, AeroPress, matcha and infusions are presented as demonstrations and workshops, outside the competition.
